This is a great episode if you want to change your life. Join us this week as we discuss how to change your investing with Mary Martin.

Today's Guest:  Mary Martin

Mary Martin, PhD is a Brown University-trained teacher of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), a Certified Mindful Schools Teacher, a Certified Trauma-Sensitive Mindfulness Teacher with a doctorate from New York University’s School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. She is the author of Mindfulness for Financial Advisors: A Way of Being and the creator of the eponymous 8-week course she has been teaching since 2019 for 7.5 CFP CE credits. She has been sharing mindfulness with advisors since 2015.   Mary’s primary concern is helping people of all ages develop the inner resources they need to face challenging times and ordinary times. These resources include self-awareness, resilience, inner and outer listening, a healthy, intentional identity that is aligned with behavior, and an expansive capacity to sit with uncertainty, ambiguity, and change. Essentially, she guides people toward greater health and well-being with evidenced-based practices that have been researched for decades. Mary is a firm believer that proper mindfulness instruction and skillful inquiry are necessary for optimal experience and outcomes. Mary writes and edits for Forbes Books, coaches financial advisors and executives, teaches mindfulness year round, and frequently is published in the Journal of Financial Planning. She lives in Jupiter, Florida, with her family.
